Noemi “Mimi” Flores is a Law Clerk at the firm and a third-year law student at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. Originally from Athens, Alabama, she earned her degree in Sociology with a minor in Legal Studies from Troy University in 2024. Since joining the firm, Mimi has enjoyed gaining practical experience while working closely with attorneys and clients. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she is passionate about helping bridge communication gaps and making legal services more accessible to diverse communities. She plans to sit for the Alabama Bar Exam in 2027 and hopes to build a career focused on immigration law and litigation, where she can continue advocating for and serving those in need.

Josh

Josh Williams is a third-year law student at the Birmingham School of Law, where he serves as Captain of the BSL Trial Team. A standout academic, Josh is a member of the JHL Honor Society and consistently named on the Dean’s List. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively serve diverse client populations. Upon his admission to the bar in 2027, Josh plans to join Nesmith & Nesmith as an associate, focusing his practice on Immigration Law, Criminal Defense, and Property Law.
